Awarded automatically to high performing academics, in recognition of Georgian and former Board Chairman Rory Argyle (1956), a constant contributor to the College who has dedicated many years of his life striving for its improvement and success.

Argyle Scholarships
Value: $500
Criteria: Incoming residents who achieve an ATAR of 98.5 or higher, returning residents who achieve a Weighted Average Mark of 85 or higher in the preceding academic year.

Argyle Exhibitioners
Value: $250
Criteria: Incoming residents who achieve an ATAR between 97 and 98.5, returning residents with a Weighted Average Mark between 80 and 85 in the preceding academic year.

• For a returning resident to be eligible for an Argyle Award they must be returning for a full academic year and have completed at least seven units during the preceding academic year.

• WAM is calculated ONLY from those units completed in the immediately preceding academic year (units from previous years are excluded from WAM calculations).

For residents commencing their first year of undergraduate studies at UWA

Reynolds Scholarship: In memory of former Warden, Dr J H Reynolds
Value: Up to 33.3% fee reduction for 3 years, subject to ongoing academic achievement.
Criteria: Students who demonstrate high academic achievement judged by ATAR results or equivalent.

Winthrop Scholarship In recognition of College founder, Sir John Winthrop Hackett
Value: Up to 25% fee reduction for 1 year
Criteria: Students who demonstrate high academic achievement judged by ATAR results or equivalent, demonstrate good character, and hold an exemplary school record.

Phillp Roberts Memorial Scholarship In memory of Phillip Roberts, a Senior Tutor at the College for 18 years.
Value: Up to 25% fee reduction for 1 year
Criteria: Students who demonstrate high academic achievement judged by ATAR results or equivalent, demonstrate good character, leadership qualities and social achievement.

Eric Glasgow Bursary Made possible by a generous bequest from University Professor and College Tutor Eric Glasgow
Value: Up to 25% fee reduction for 1 year

Jeremy Cheang Memorial Scholarship In memory of Georgian Jeremy Cheang (2009)
Value: Up to $2000
Criteria: Western Australian regional students, gifted academically (minimum ATAR of 97.5 or equivalent UWA results), enrolled in a Bachelor of Philosophy or Bachelor of Science at UWA majoring in Chemistry ( preference for organic chemistry).

Samantha Argyle Scholarship Established by Penny and Rory Argyle (1956) to commemorate their daughter Samantha Argyle (1990)
Value: Up to 20% fee reduction for 1 year
Criteria: Students who demonstrate high academic achievement, good character, leadership and social achievements. Preference is given to students enrolled in a Bachelor of Veterinary Science.

Alcoa Scholarship Made possible by Alcoa
Value: Up to 12.5% fee reduction for 1 year
Criteria: Students entering their second year of Engineering at UWA who demonstrate high academic achievement. Special consideration is given to female applicants.

For residents returning for their second year or more at St George’s College

Grecian Snook Memorial Bursary In memory of Grecian Snook
Value: Up to 20% fee reduction for 1 year (previous applicants are invited to re-apply)
Criteria: Continuing residents enrolled at UWA who demonstrate high academic achievement in Agricultural Science, Environmental Science or Botany, community involvement, and sporting achievements. Special consideration given to students from regional Western Australia.

RFL & CH Glover Memorial Bursary Established by Dr John Glover (1942) in memory of his parents, Rhoda Lulu and Cecil Glover
Value: Up to 20% fee reduction for 1 year (previous recipients are invited to re-apply)
Criteria: Continuing residents enrolled at UWA who demonstrate high academic achievement in Natural or Earth Sciences with preference for Geology, community involvement, and sporting achievements.  Special consideration given to students from regional Western Australia.

Olsen Bell Scholarships Made possible by a bequest from Christian Olsen (1934)
Value: Up to 12.5% fee reduction for 1 year
Criteria: Continuing resident entering their second year of studies at UWA who has achieved at least Distinction average (WAM of 70+). Two scholarships to be awarded, one for Humanities and Social Sciences (including Commerce and Law); another for Science, Engineering, Computing or Mathematics.

Music Scholars are encouraged to participate in the College Music Program and residential Arts Programs for the year.

Wolff Scholarship In memory of College Tutor Dr JM Wolff
Value: Up to 20% fee reduction for 1 year
Criteria: Students enrolled in Music at UWA who demonstrate music excellence.

Knight Family Scholarship Established by Peter Knight (1960) and his family
Value: Up to 25% fee reduction for 1 year
Criteria: Students entering their second year of studies (or above) in Music at UWA. Special consideration given to students from regional Western Australia.

Cohen Collegium Musicum Scholarship
Value: Up to 60% fee reduction for 1 year
Criteria:  Students enrolled in Music at any WA university who demonstrate music excellence.

Special consideration given to those in difficult financial circumstances.

Talison Lithium Scholarships Talison Lithium provides three scholarships to support students in mining-related studies
